MRTs practicing MRI have years of education and training required to provide you with quality care

They use the MRI technology, to effectively look at the soft tissues of the body — the brain, joints, muscles, tendons, and the vessels of the heart. Using their extensive education in physics, anatomy, pathology, and safety, they use the MRI technology to obtain the best possible images for your diagnosis. Based on their expertise, the MRT will explain the test to you and will answer any questions you will have. They will precisely position your body and equipment for your scan based on the structures that the physician or care provider needs to see.

Just as importantly, MRTs will work with patients to ensure safety and comfort through these, sometimes lengthy, procedures. The MRT will complete a screening form with you prior to the MRI scan. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and the MRT will provide a detailed explanation of your scan The MRT is also available to you during the full length of the exam. They are your primary contact to answer any questions you may have about your MRI or aftercare.
